Garden Party

The Frontenac County Schools Museum is hosting a garden party!  Spring has sprung, and it’s time to celebrate the season.
This kid-friendly event is open to everyone. No tickets or payment needed, but donations are appreciated 🙂 We’ll be organizing gardening activities inspired by real lessons in nature study and agriculture that students would have learned in one-room schoolhouses during the early 20th century. Come by to design your own school garden and plant a window box which you can take home and hang on a window or fence! We’re looking forward to a fun and crafty afternoon 🙂 Hope to see you there!
Ps. If you’re a true nature lover, feel free to also stop by Barriefield’s rock garden while you’re here. It’s gorgeous this time of year!
